Meet-up point was on West Lake Sylvia
The July Boat Parade will be on Saturday, July 6th at 10:00 AM.
Decorate your boat to be eligible for great prizes or line your dock with spectators for the parade! We need a lead boat to start the parade. Contact Jenny at (480) 390-8956 for more information. Donations are accepted to help cover costs.
The 2023 Lake Sylvia Boat Parade, sponsored by GLSA, was a wonderful success. Special thanks to Jenny Pixley for initiating and organizing the fun lake bags, awards, and supplying her bundle of enthusiasm with Vicki Hoien helping out. Nineteen (19) amazingly decorated boats checked in on Saturday morning on the West Lake near the channel. The parades went around each lake with some boats covering both lakes. Several docks were filled with festive spectators.
